News Credits: 2 | Yes it works, it's easier of course to dye lighter colored plastic darker or black than the other way around. Also you have to be careful to keep a slow simmer and quick dips because you don't want to warp the plastic piece if it's too hot or if you leave it in there too long. Dyeing is the best option for joints, ball or socket or hinge so there's no paint rub with posing. Shapeways stuff is particularly nice for dyeing. |
