Insecticons are quite short, so I would think having them the same hieght in robot mode doesnt fully fit. Thats just my thought. Possibly a couple of centemetres shorter will do the trick. I watch the first insecticon vid on youthube and realised the very different hieght difference.

I suppose its like Ptimus Prime and Bunblebee, very distinct.

The build is looking top notch so far. I love how quick you star these off.

Cant wait to see more,

I was wondering if anyone has painted any of your bashes, I havent seen any pics.

Hi Buddy
I understand what your saying about the height but I believe that the only reason they where smaller was because of the diaclone mold that Hasbro used.
I have just sat through season 1,2 and 3 with my son and sometimes they are as tall as Megatron and other times a lot shorter.
I really hate the fact that the scaling was wrong IMO on a lot of bots and if we were to get picky IE how do the decepticons fit inside Astrotrain Megatron changing to a gun that Starscream holds just 2 examples.
Please don't take it in the wrong way and thank you for your input I all ways look for advice from others.

I just really want a good sized team that look even to one another.

I dont know about the painting but i am sure we will see some real soon.

All the best Dawgstar

EDIT and when I say picky it is not aimed at you I mean Us as in Transformers Fans.

Thanks again Dawgstar

I agree, keeping them in scale with each is most important. I was just putting my thought into it I guess, there is nothing wrong with the build, it looks solid to me. Ive ordered some of the soam stuff you used the other day and will try it out. I hope I can work with it like you do. Are you abale to sand it down? What did you use to round the shoulders of Sharpnel off with?

Im looking forward to seeing your work painted. A team of dinobot painted up one day is gonna be so cool. Hve you had any buyer going for the set?

Hi and thanks again for your input always good to see what people have to say. Got a few in the pipe line for a whole set without snarl because I did not want to step on sculpt-bots toes as I think his is still up for sale but I do plan to make one for myself. I will at one stage paint some myself once I work out how to paint well enough and get them on eBay but not in the near future. As for sanding it's great I really can't fault it. Pm me were you got yours from always good to see pricing. All the best Arun. Oh and I use milliput found on eBay and heat it up with a hair dryer to make it set in 25 mins rather than 3 hours. Don't heat the sheets to much other than to bend because it can warp as I found out the hard way.

If scales an issue with any d00ds, you could always title them Nova Core Insectacons.

Progress is looking good. Can't wait to see some bug legs as they always round out a concept and tie it all together.
