Cartoon Style Masterpiece G2 Grimlock

first and foremost as a G1 fan I've always been more keen on retaining my painting on my childhood memories from the old cartoon and comic, but somewhere along the way that little five year old also fondly remembers his favorite dinobot colored in blue paint apps which for some reason worked surprisingly well, fast forward in time and I am now giving my favorite dinobot and one of my favorite masterpiece molds a G2 cartoon style touch. i used different tones of blue for the cel shading on his main body, detailed his waist with some red, light blue and gray, I added a gradient effect on some areas of his knees, feet and legs with detailed multicolored buttons like the toy. Since G2 is known for being more of a vibrant color sort of line I cel shaded his bot mode chest with a yellow orange tone rather than the darker tone I used for the comic style one I did a few months back, and both bot mode visors were also cel shaded for a nice cartoony feel to them, I also took a few libertries since I'm well aware the original toy did not feature G2 symbols as far as I'm aware, but Grimlock looks kind of naked to me without them so I gave him some to complete the look and I am more than pleased with the end result, Hope you guys feel the same!

Oddly enough, I think the sword is my favorite part of this custom, lol.

Looks pretty badass, i wish tak/hasbro would do a deco like this. G2 grimlock was my 1st transformer when i was a kid.
