That look's awesome! I have Knockout and I have been unable to achieve this look. Can someone explain it or point me to where it has been explained?

Ok if you paint it like Cheet or I did, when you do the shoulder transformation like that it will scrape the paint on the hood vents near the edges. The last section nearest the windshield. Over time, yes if you transform him a lot even the factory paint. New custom paint is even more sensitive to it. If you protect it with a sealant and be careful it "should" be ok.

I just hadn't had a chance to do so and scraped mine up good but mine is newly painted. In the short time I've had mine though I have noticed paint wear there and the smaller hood stripe ends on the factory job before I started painting. Maybe I got a bad paint job, maybe they will all do that. Just keep an eye out and seal it if you notice it happening.

Though I noticed he's taller too. What did you do to mod the knees?

 

It's just the ange of the picture, there was no modding to make it taller.

 

Everyones used to seeing it with the shoulder mod, pushes his head back and down a bit. Mine looks the same as yours, bigger, because I'm not using the shoulder mod right now. It might be the way he's supposed to go but it does kill the paint in the area. I'm leaving mine as is for now.

 

"Fall apart" is a strong term, but on mine the shoulders are VERY prone to slipping down and doing an impression of old lady boobs.

But forget all that, the last thing I want is to distract from the great great job you did. I look forward to doing a halfassed sloppy version of it in the near future.

Why are people still saying this with each new prime figure to come out? The Takara AM versions have less paint apps than the Hasbro versions AND ugly non show accurate peg holes added everywhere.
