Nice! I will be picking this up! However, he looks more Chibi-ish then I originally thought he would.

Is the surface as grainy as it appears in the picture?

Awesome! I'm planning on getting a second one and painting him to go with the Cyberverse Ultra Magnus when he comes out ^__^

I'm trying to push Fakebusker83 to do more of this type! Maybe a decepticon flail or a shield of some sort :)

Thanks for making them man! I look forward to seeing what else you roll out ^__^

White Strong & Flexable (WSF); the surface is pretty textured allowing it to soak up paint pretty easily. I may experiment with adding a high gloss clear coat to it to see if that helps. Shapeways does offer a "polished" material which I assume would give you a much less textured piece but I haven't tried it yet. The WSF is the cheapest of the options though. This little guy cost me $15 plus shipping. The Frenzy/Rumble and Ravage were about $8 each.
Here's the list of available materials: http://www.shapeways.com/materials
I am admittedly tempted to try getting one of these dudes in the polished alumide (if it were available that is) or stainless steel ^__^

Asphalt asked that I take a pic of Siesmus next to a Joe so I snapped a few. I also got my FE Bulkhead in the mail yesterday so took some pics w/ him as well (thinking about Operation Bumblebee part 2 and the Forge of Solus Prime).

Doh! and I just now thought I should have also gotten pics with the Cyberverse Bulkhead.. ah well.
