MP Swoop WIP

So finally it's finished! I was building it for over a month and a half.
Here are the mods I did to Silverbolt to "convert" him to Swoop:
-Scratch built wings(on balljoints for better poses),dino head,whole rear section of the torso ,claws on knees,head crest,gun and sword
-Resculpted face , helmet sanded down to get round shape like in G1 toy (ALternator hound head as base),swapped fists with alternator Prowl's.
-Added waist ball joint for more dynamic poses and to gain height,now is almost as tall as Grimlock,and lots of details from styrene

Cool, cant wait to see more. Swoop is my favurite. I think the silverbold mould is a bit on the short size for an MP figure. Thats my opinions, others will differ of courseDo you have any plans to make it slightly taller..

Hi there I thought the same. I made a new upper body that added the height needed to fit the scale of MP Grimlock. with that a side it looks like a great start wishing you the best for the build. All the best Dawgstar

I dunno, Swoop isn't as big as Grimmy and probably the smallest of the group. It should be a pretty good fit.

Yeah,he is a bit short no doubt about it,but that what I like bout him. My personal preference for Swoop is to be a bit shorter than the rest of the dinobots,I like the size difference between them Seen your builds on this subject,they are off the hook!

UPDATE 1

I did some styrene detailing on the arms,sanded them ,every crack is filled and sanded so they are pretty much ready for paint now. Yesterday started working on the legs,closed big part of the gap on the rear side of the legs (still need to add details) ,made some scoops/intakes ond the sides of the shins to break the straight line uniform look a bit. Still need to do couple of details more on the legs then moving on to the next task.

Looking good! What are you using for the dino head?

Not sure yet,at first i'll try to build one by myself from scratch,and if that don't work I'll probably try get the same thing as you,gravity ptera.
