| Decepticon Join Date: Aug 2011 Posts: 151 | Thanks guys! Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff I know what you mean about the eyes, They look fine in real life but the photos make it look strange. I ummmmed about the colour and eyes so much, I think I'll rework the eyes ![]() The pearlescent paint though really makes the figures pop, and i think this is going to stay on my desk for a while ![]() No doubt someone can do this like 100% better than I can, i just hope it inspires ![]() |

Starscreams hip joints are way loose out of the box and I think it really helped that I gave it a coat of the white pearl Tamiya as a finish because the joints tighted up a treat! Also, starscream's head when transforming WILL RUB! I found out the hard way, then repainted. And put a small coating of superglue on the rub spots on the head, i left it a while before gently transforming, and hazah! Totally worked! Gave a lot of condition to it and could be pushed in and out with 99% no rubbing! Even in the jet mode, the two figures hold real tight, I really enjoyed doing this one! So.....which next? Classics piranacon from voyager seaspray? Or classics scorpinok.....? | |

| Decepticon Join Date: Aug 2011 Posts: 151 | Now i'm back for a little while, here is the pre-painted method of affixing starscream to the back of soundwave. It took me a long time to work it out but it works a treat and absolutely doesn't budge. Going to fix the eyes in a bit, then i'm looking at what to do next: Voyager Seapray > Piranacon (non-combiner) or Scorponok, which will be a big undertaking with lots of scratchbuilding, but i'm sort of wanting to push forward in my experience. i'm just asking your opinion guys ![]() |
