Fakebusker's Shapeways Store TF: Prime Wheeljack blasters Version 1.0 Update April 2, 2012 This set is made in response to many, many requests. I guess even though Jackie looks awesome with his blades, he still needs his guns in case he catches dysentery or something. You will receive a pair of blasters that are specially designed to be stored on many different areas of the figure. Not only can he hold them in his fists, you can put them on his... ...shoulders... ...front alt mode... ...rear alt mode as boosters... ...rear alt mode as artillery... ...and even on his legs as booster jets! Surely, it's a pair of blasters perfect for all crazy mechanics out there... Bonus Grenade As a bonus item, the set includes a grenade that can store on his hip. Unfortunately, this is not the most ideal solution as the grenade is held in place by his back kibble and rubbing against his thigh. Also because of that, the thigh cannot rotate much or the grenade will fly off. However, until I hit on a better solution I'll leave the grenade as it is in the set. Hope you guys don't mind. It's usable, but not ideal. The grenade is a 5mm peg, so you can also put it in his fists, or slot it into the barrel of his blaster to form a makeshift grenade launcher! Comments much appreciated!! Hope you guys like this one. - Ariel You can get Jackie some guns at: TF: Prime Wheeljack blasters on Shapeways Flickr is here. Fakebusker's Shapeways Store
Got two of these on the way as well. One for Wheeljack, one for my custom Wheeljack repaint in my sig, Burnout.
I wish I knew more about 3D modeling, I've been working on a pair of transforming blaster headlights >.< All I've got are some half-done sketches though.
Liking these upgrades you're whipping out! For the grenade, would it not be possible to re-design the attachment system - so that it goes over the pelvic girdle, as the hip is folding down into place (in much the same way that savio-prime's hip wheel requires moving the leg out of the way). This should require no more than moving the connecting arm to the back of the grenade, as opposed to the middle (as it is now).
He already has made Arcee blasters and blades for her arms too. They are available now. Click the link to the Shapeways site and order them.
i can, but it costs US$20 to ship to where I am... can't justify the cost of that to myself, sadly... unless I get enough stuff... T_____T ... guess I need to scratch build stuff the old fashioned way...
