Ah well...Sorry for that. There has been a lot of things going on lately and I didn't have the presence of mind to update/announce everything.

Do you want me to send you a new grenade?

Ok, about to order a set, what material would you all recommend if I do NOT plan on painting the set?

They have the colored versions... Or just go with WSF or FUD and then just dye them.

I have just made available these blasters in Alumide material. They will be a grey, slightly silvery material and will be relatively smooth. I guess this should be what you are looking for. :)

    Hey,

Got mine today in aluminide. I wouldn't recommend that material to others, but it is workable.

I'm having trouble figuring out grenade storage. I have version 2.0. Also, I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the slots in the boasters are too big for the pegs behind the feet and the car storage on the front. It fits but is too loose.

It is nice though, and I'm enjoying this a lot. I'd recommend it to anyone who has Jackie.

Care to post some pictures? I haven't yet seen anything in that material.

    Why wouldn't you recommend it?

I'll try to post tomorrow, but the material feels rough and grainy and has an almost crumbling feel to it. It is solid, but just feels like its waiting for the right moment to dissolve.

Like I said though, the set is good, I just wish that the blasters fit onto the pegs on Jackie tighter. As the pegs in question are used for his swords, which do fit tight, I'm not sure what a good working solution would be. Jackie is my travel bot, and the set is too loose to come with me on trips. I suspect strongly my problem is material related or a one off problem as no one else has complained about how the blasters pegged in.

When you paint them you will be adding thickness to the port which could help. Also the old stand by of adding floor polish should work to tighten it.

Once they have "printed" your items, assuming you're in the US, they use UPS overnight. Otherwise, it might take a week for shipping to go through.
