My PRID Arcee arrived today and since I had my painting stuff out already I decided to touch her up (giggity) and add her pink. EDIT: While taking some pictures of my repainted Cliffjumper into Tailgate (seen here ), Arcee made a couple appearances. Since people would probably like to see better pictures I present to you those shots. Original post continues: Crappy cell phone pics incoming because I don't have the good camera at the moment. I really wish I could figure out how to focus with my cell phone. Stuff in the background looks perfect... Man I really like this figure. She is super emotive and a pretty darn close to show accurate height. And the pink just makes her scream Arcee!
Hehe, they're there because Rumble's leg is about to break off and I was trying to glue it together. Frenzy is there for moral support.
I fully endorse PRID Arcee. I've never experienced the FE version but based on the reviews of both, PRID seems to just eek out for me. Some complain about the blue being off but it looks fine to me. She's a good height and as I've gushed, is so emotive that I can't believe it. Her backpack is obvious but in hand it never really detracts, at least for me. I always make the wheel align with her back so looking strait on all you see are the wings. But they sit back 1/2 of an inch and so blend into the background. At least for me. So yeah, I'd say buy her. If you can add the pink, do it, but the default silver isn't bad either. I guess this turned into my review of her.

Great touch ups there! When I eventully get my copy of the RID Arcee I'll have to use the paint you used on her!
great painting (just saw your tailgate pics in the other thread as well). Was wondering, did you paint Arcee or is it just lightning? The blue looks darker, but love the pink you added
Thanks for the compliments. I rather like them as well so it's always nice to hear others think they aren't crap. But no, I didn't paint her. All I did was add the pink. In a vacuum PRID Arcee's blue isn't nearly as show in-accurate. It's only if you compare her directly to the FE colors that she seems too bright. Heck yeah. I thought she looked decent with silver but adding that pink really makes her pop. Though mine doesn't touch yours man.
No prob, great work, even in the simplest form, deserves some acknowledgment. As someone who likes to draw, I can completely understand that you feel your work could be way better when others don't lol. Ah, I see. yeah that's true. Since i own all variations of the FE arcee, once i got the RiD one it was just so different to me..I might buy another one to play around with the scheme. The paint you used, can you get it in stores, or is it online order only? *I've never really customized anything, only used paints on canvas*
I believe you can use tamiyas website to locate a local hobby store that sells them. That's where I got mine.
