You know it! Couldn't have done it without your help! I'm glad what I saw in the mold turned out well. I was a bit worried after a while looking at sky shadow for a while when I started to doubt my thoughts. But I was content that I could switch it back if it didn't work.. Fortunately for me it totally does!

It took A LOT of work surprisingly. I had to sand and test fit a ton of times before it worked out. The worst part was getting the chest thinned down to accommodate the head. I wanted the pointy parts on the sides of his head to stick up a bit more, but there was just flat out no way to make the head fit within the chest compartment without having to do major modifications to the toy (something I'd rather not do).

Ontop of that the gold paint I used didn't want to adhere that well even after hitting it with a coat of primer first.. It was strange, but finally worked out!

This looks good! I used a spare Cyclonus to make a Metal Hawk, but I like your idea a lot!

Yea... if they insisted on using the Pretender Jet mold for Metalhawk.. they should've at least used the Black Shadow retool.

Regardless... nice little mod.

Was the only change (aside from the head) of black shadow that's different the chest plate? Just making sure there isn't extra stuff that was different and I never noticed..
