Not going to call this masterpiece but it is going to be masterpiece scale. anyway i finally got sime time between deployments to get so stuff done.heres some pics from my cell. let me know what you think so far
realized the pic really sucked that i sent, but i was going to bed and took a quick shot with my phone. anyway, here is a better pic of slags dino head. eventually it will attach to a body and hopefully transform and look nice. i'll post updates as i get them, which aren't going to be terribly quick i'm sure. thanks for the comments so far, and please critique it as i go. always open to suggestions.
ok, really small update. finally got his horns figured out. they are a little large maybe, and i might try rounding them out a little bit, but i'm happy with them for now. working on his arms, and back presently, and should have some updates on them in the not too distant future. comments always welcome
it's made out of styrene and glue. and now with the horns, i filled them with some of the two part plastic. eventually i plan to cast the whole thing, but we'll see.
im looking forward to more. looks great so far. Can only get better from here on. You said casting? Now that would be cool!
Hi just seeing how you are getting on with this build, do you have an update? I'm sure you have seen but I am building a MP slag as well and hope to get back on it at the weekend after my accident. im looking forward to seeing a different approach.I hope it goes well for you. All the best Dawgstar
i was hoping to have an update today, but work, children and a lack of a decent hobby store in my area prevented anything dramatic from getting accomplished this week. have his chest and upper arms at a very basic level, need to put everything together to see what i need to do next. i've been following your build as well, good to hear that your finger is better. probably won't have any updates for a week or two now that i've switched to afternoons at work, but once i do i'll post them.
I 2nd that i would still like to see where u are at. i think its great to see these projects in the raw scraps that we start in. if it was not for the early photos i may never had thought i could do what i have done. all the best Arun
