| Insecticon Join Date: May 2011 Posts: 984 News Credits: 2 | Custom Prime RID Cliffjumper *EDIT Just added a version 2.0 photo of my work in progress full paint custom. He's the last photo in the batch here. Worked up another PRID CJ with a metallic red paint job. *END EDIT Hey all Radicons! I was really bummed about the rest of the First Edition Prime series being dropped here in the U.S. as I was really looking forward to the FE Cliffjumper, Bulkhead and Vehicon! Well, Prime RID CJ came out last week and since I can't get the FE I decided to paint mine up to better reflect the FE as well as better portray the character as he appeared on the show. p.s. a couple photos were taken before I painted the door handles and a couple other details. ![]() http://ruminus.deviantart.com/ Avatar Pic created by capcomkai on these boards! |

Kinda makes you wonder if the figure would have recived so much hate from the fans if it came painted like this. You really brought up the the details in abdomen area, that otherwise are totally missed with the crappy unpainted gray plastic. You made him look a lot more screen-accurate, and vanished the "unfinished toy" feel. I'm definately doing this to mine as soon as he arrives! |
