Hello fellas

Started making this guy yesterday, and after a few hours of work this is what I got.

-Size is Ultra Class
-Vehicles and robot mode only, no city mode.

I'm still figuring out a lot of things like rifle, tank turret, shouder pointed cones, abbs guns, head etc...

This is the concept, updates will come as soon as I advance the project.

Suggestions are welcome as usual.

02/22/2012 - Final Update

Thanks a lot for the kind words gentleman.

Overlord is 99,9% done bros, just developing and printing a few stickers for the bot and altmodes and he'll be fully done.

Here's a hint of the finished work, full hi-res bot and altmode pics next sunday night.

This guy is probably hitting ebay next week since I already have an Overlord.

Looking sweet, I like how the lower legs are so long, similar to the original. The wings on his chest are likewise impressive. Showing a lot of promise, looking forward to more on this.

Just a suggestion for the head. Another user used an Overlord with a G2 Megatron head with the antennae added onto the sides. It looked fairly good and might be something to look up.

 

Really nice so far, it is really neat to see all the different directions people are taking for this character.

 

Thats awesome! Such a perfect version of him, especially love how he's ultra class and that he is a combiner! Realy good interpretation of him for CHUG

Seriously considering to sculpt one though my sculpting skills totally suck...

I'm really trying to go slow and sharp into this guy, I tend to rush on my works and I'm learning to be more patient so that I may achieve better results, but I confess that I want to see it painted soon.

I saw that my bro, brilliant and inspiring work that guy is doing, unfortunatelly my G2 Megs head is already being used on my Megachopter...Otherwise I could use that one. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks bro, as a huge fan of OL I'll be probably trying different takes on him along the times. Same for Shockwave which is my fave.

Well let me see if I remember well those are..Tidal Wave's forearms glued together for the torso, Universe Powerglide's arms and shouders, some random space shuttle guy for the wings, KO oversized Robot Masters O.P.'s for the legs, RID Railracer's hip wings for his side folding chest plates, Armada Demolishor's treads and Classics Jetfire armguns for his back thrusters...As far as I remember taht's all...
