Hi arun, No worries. I am more than happy to wait and see the fruit of your efforts. And to alloy chemist point, i concur that arun's willingness to work with customer is absolute ace and professional.
Hi i have made a quick nock up of the rear legs but still interested to see what you have come with i will be posting images tomorrow but still would like your input. what i have done is what wheeljack said and used the front leg and made it wider to fit added some left to right movement and tilt forward. IMO looks the nuts but will wait to see what others think. All the best Dawgstar
Sorry for being late with the designs, got carried away with my Swoo.,I prepared something a bit different than the last time,I think you'll like it. It's double jointed leg with ball joint on foot to allow flat stance.I'm sending this to you ASAP. Cheers,Danilo
Cool no rush just glad your willing to help Me 2 I am working as fast as i can but i have had a few hours off today with friends and a few beers LOL
Looks like you have plenty of room to put bigger hands on him. Some kind of cuff over the ball joints will allow for a decent amount of movement but still allow some bending not sure if it would look G1 enough though. Look at Transmetal Megatron's tail you'd get some idea what I mean.
Some treats turned up today the New Hands so small delay on leg update I want to show them both off at the same time. Thanks for waiting
New Hands Hi all here is a nock up of the new rear legs and hands. IMO it looks a lot better but will be the customers choice. The rear legs now match the front that had to be changed in order to fit the larger hands that came from shapeways. Let me know what you think all the best
Totally worth the added effort poot into making them. Brings the legs together better visually, and probably structurally as well. Nice work man!
Thanks alot guys I am glad you Like them. Well worth the time and effort Glad you like them they work and look alot better. Your one is just behind it on the build stage. it is mostly built some bits that need changing and then sanding and making good. Spent alot of time getting the legs done so not much work has been done this week to slag at all but not to much longer to wait. this stage is now the slow stage of cleaning up the cast and making good. Sadly i wont be painting any of these in the near future I just dont have any where to paint so you will have to wait for the others to paint them. I cant wait to see them painted myself
Update 19 Hi all. Here is kelvinchang99's Slag 90% done Wheeljacks not far behind. I have painted primed it to show me any high and low spots so that i can sort them before shipping. the 2nd build is also very close behind with just some small bits that need adjusting before paint. ETA 2-3 weeks bang on time. I also have a 3rd not to far behind the 2nd that i may put on eBay but not 100% on that yet. All the best and hope you like. if you have taking the time to look please leave a message.
