these are awesome. i'm really amazed that the lego joints can hold so much weight!! did you modify in any way? does he have difficulty holding his arms 90 degrees to the body? i've tried using the bionicle pieces in the past, but did away with them because of their 'looseness'. :(

if they are used yes loose, if they are new and used a lot in the future yes loose... but at first they will hold and u could always fix with drop of superglue

    Joints

Hi I only use new Joints so always seem to fit nicely.
They are a little loose but by the time you have painted them they are nice and stiff. G60force is correct that yes a small amount of super glue will always stiffen up a loose joint just in case and the joints a easy to swap out when and if something better turns up in the future.
    Many thanks Dawgstar

They look great except for the horns. Can you make something a bit more tapered to a point? Those look like insect antennas.

Hi all Danilko kindly sent me a new design for Slags arm and I have made it with a little modification. here is the drawing and the WIP for the new arm. Its is big enough to house a mp skywarp hand and i have ordered some from shapeways to add to these builds.

I have added an extra pivot point and sunk magnets into it to hold it firmly in place so that it does not slip down at all.

Let me know what you think

I really like the new arms, as I've said before... but now they make me like the rear/lower legs alot less. But being as I ain't gonna buy him(no offense, just dont have any money) My opinion don't count all that much. IMO though the rest of him is so great , redoing the other legs would pretty much make this guy perfect.

Its a nice cast for sure. But IMO, preferred v1 of the arm. The cast is nice on its own and works well in bot mode but makes now the dinomode legs look out of place.

I would prefer version 1 arms. Otherwise, incredible figure. You are a machine Arun.

I like the new arms, but would definitely change the rear Dino legs to match. Maybe making the same mold but slightly wider (more bulk) for them would work.....

Well as 2 paying customers like Burger King You can have it your way.
Kelvin I have the ver 1 arms made so you can have them thats cool. but i would hang on a bit longer to see what i can come up with for Wheeljack2010.
I will work on the Ver 2 rear legs later this week to see what i can come up with. no extra cost but may delay slightly by a day or 2. if you have a pen a paper and want to draw me a rough rear leg i will make it.

I am also re-working the front horn so will show that off soon and again if you like it's yours.

    All the best Arun

I really like that you are willing to change your design to make it better or make a customer happy even thought you are past the design stage of things.

before doing this i worked 10 years in retail and i would always bend the rules so it worked for the customer. I belive that both the customer and I will benifit by working together.

I was hoping you would see the post and that you might even have one in the making LOL. I have an idea but would like to see what you come up with aswell.
    Many thanks
