How to apply Chrome Foil

Hey guys,

I wanted to add some chrome accents to my transformer, but didn't want anything permanent. I didn't want to mess up and depreciate the value of my piece. So I made a tutorial on how to apply Chrome Foil to transformers.

hope I put this in the right place.

Pretty cool.

Being non-destructive is also a major plus... like you said, if you wanna resell, can easily peel the chrome off.

Might wanna attach a few of the images onto the page though. If you edit the post there's a link for "Manage Attachments." In the pop-up window, you can put the url for the pics to upload copies to TFW, and use for this post.

I wonder if amazon sells the foil... as I have a severe lack of hobby shops in my area.

I second this. I was considering silver paint on TFP voyager OP, but after checking this out, chrome foil looks to be the better and more accurate option. At least now, I'll just think about how to add the scratch and damage marks.

Great stuff! I've been using BMF for years, and I can highly recommend the product.

Recently I used it on my Classics G1 style Bumblebee on the grill and mirrors:
