Pretty much but it's your creation! I'll get it either way!

I'll just have to get a C Metroplex and decide where to put the Stronghold I made. Probably with my Japanese Classics shelf as so far it's pretty empty!
Now on eBay: Botcon '96 Onyx Primal, '04 Megazarak, '10 Cindersaur! BW Metals X-9 Ravage, Revoltech Rodimus, BTS Nemesis Trailer Perfect for Either Version of Nemesis Prime!

I'm purchasing a C Metroplex from someone on this forum, and there are a couple other people selling them too. About 70$ is what I'd expect, but eBay is worse...

I love the Metroplex idea.
I haven't got one yet, so I wonder what kind of connection the head has.
Could someone disassemble there's and take a picture?

As someone who has made many customs from that mold I am VERY happy to hear this!

Woah... have you got a picture archive of your Brave Maximus? I mean, eBay's page won't stay forever now that you sold it! I'm really interested in how you customized it, I'd like to make a full blown conversion kit now, not just the head! *LOL*

You could make two different versions of it. One with a more toy accurate head and one like the Marvel comics version.

Guess which one I'd get.

Comics version, I'd say. *LOL* I still prefer the anime Headmasters designs myself, but that's only because that's the way I really got to know these characters.

Weeeellllp... back on topic. My Chromedome is dyied. No problem, except that... he's orange. I guess I should have done more dips, in the dye. Sooooo... I'm gonna have to learn to paint if I want him to be ready for TF Con.

Well, not as pretty as I would have liked him to be, but he's done. I'll be making some labels and some paint touch ups.

Tip for those who wanted to Dye the figure like I'd originally planned... use Sideswipe as a base. No matter what I did with the dye, the white colour kept showing the plastic swirls and it just looked bad.

Granted, my painting skills aren't that good, so it still look kinda bad, but at least it's done. I overpainted a few parts and lost details, so I'll have to remove some paint and repaint over if I want him perfect.... but for a first custom ever, I'll just let him be.

I like the bronze color instead of the typical brown look.
