What if... ...Bumblebee and Cliffjumper couldn't save Arcee from Airachnid back on Cybertron? What if Arcee was kept prisoner for years, until she eventually broke down...and looked at her abusive captor as her only friend...a sister. What if Arcee's dark side took control? What if Arcee and Airachnid terrorized the galaxy for the next 10,000 years? What if I painted something other than flat black? She started out in the Animated Prowl colorscheme, but I couldn't get the metallic gold to sit right. So I defaulted to a bit of a "nemesis" color scheme. And a play on the jumbled word Airachnid, I give you Nemesister. I even kept her face scar, but you can't see it in these photos. I'd like to do a few more "What ifs" in the next few weeks.
Really nice. Did you tint her windshield that color or did it come that way, (if so, how did you tint it). I would love to see versions painted up like the arcee twins from the movie and versions painted up like the female autobots on cybertron in their appropriate color schemes but with this mold and possible head remolds/retweaks. (I could see the female autobots being a female biker group with Alita-One possibly being a cruiser of some sort). This mold just speaks female form. Also it would be nice if they would make the chopper in the scout class a deluxe size to compliment the recent bike releases such as Wreck-Gar and Junkheap.
This looks VERY nice, very clean, and the idea behind is original without seeming too corny or crazy. How did you tint the windshield such a nice shade of red? And what kind of paint did you use? That black looks so nice I could swear that it was dyed from the original blue!
Everything looks fantastic... except the face. Perhaps it's a combination of the sculpt and colors... but the expression looks very... weird. Perhaps if the eyes had more black, and she sported a Decepticon-style mouthguard she's look more Nemesis-like?
