Ok people, Ive been on an articulation mission. I have added a twist type articulation just below the knee which I had on my Ver 2.0 Swoop. Then I put a ball joint into thein the foot for better balance when in different poses which i took of from the extreme kibble bit on MP Skywarp.

    Heres the pics:

I used a lego rick and then attatached with glue and smalls screws neo shifter parts. I cut the Silverbolt leg on the line just below the knee and added the new swivel part there.

Sorry the pic isnt that clear, will sort it later.

    Me too....

I finished the other foot and then switched the toe ends over to make the feet look right. that was one thing about the Silverbolt mould that I didnt like. It looked like he fell out of the bed and then put his feet on the wrong way! lol... They did it so her could stand properly, but I didnt like it much (short cuts!).

I think I will build them up a bit cuz the look on the small side. Probably if I can manage it right, try to make the ends go under the joint section I did. Hopefully reaching the bottom of the leg. I will post a pic when Ive dont it. I just want to try and make them completely flat on the floor on the complete underside of the foot.

Heres the feet on the right side:

i changed the foot joint because the ball joint kept annoying me by popping off. The left foot of the robot on the right side of the pic is the new one. I ripped the armpit joint off ROTF delux ravage fron leg for this. Al54so added the dino feet to him, they tuck away nicely at the top of the leg.

Over all much better solid articulation in this foot now...

i love what you did with the feet man. that's what I love the most about this hobby, going the extra distance like that. the feet mod adds SO much. cant wait to see this finished.

Thanks, Ive got a thing about articulation in the feet. To me a custom build isnt complete unless the feet move and enables the better posing... Shouldnt take forever now, but still some to do on it....

Heres the first casted wing. The ball joint and cup didnt work out so well, but I can use the rest of it though.... Not perfect, but it will do for sure

    Exciting:

well it might fail yet so dont hold your breath!im starting out with mp prime hands first which are less complex but all fingures move unlike the seeker hands

on another note i done the mod you did using silverbolt arms on shockwave and ran into a major issue you might not have realized yet-paint rub to fuck!because those parts need to push to the body its pointless sanding them down as there always gonna rub,im gonna have to come up with a new way to get round this, msg me to go through this.cheers

I saw this problem too, but as i thought of it I might try and use silocone in the joint and then sand it down. Im hoping this would give the joint friction and allow me to sand the part down also. Its only a thought in my mind, but I will keep you posted, and if I manage it then I will put some piscs up.... lol, this should be in my Shockwave WIP. hehe

Chromed the wings with a spray paint. Swoop has an inposing wing span now...

The flap on one of the right (blak) lower legs is hinged and opens out to cover the gap between leg and back in alt mode. You can just see it if you look carefully at the back of right leg. Still a bit of work to do, so I will post pics once completed this bit....

he extra wing segment isnt as goos sa id like so Im going to redo it I think. Probably going to make it thicker so it is more durable. Its a bit flimsy, but hey it was my first casting attempt. You live and learn. Maybe the resin I use isnt tough enough. Any recommendations for really strong plastic for using in the mold...

I did the wing cannons the other night.

Heres the piccy, I will of course be putting the dino claws on next. Then apart from the wing segment and seperating the dino claws, it will be pretty much finished. Obviously it will need a paint job and some areas filling and smothing off.

Wing cannon done, easy to to. All I used were some cheap but facy looking earphones I got off Ebay. Added them to the cannons og the gravity Petyra Zoid and then attatched with a screw to the wings.

They will lood good once the heads are painted gold and the rest in Dinobot grey!
