Ive shaved the arms down and started on working on the head and back section of the jet. I dont want to use the old Swoop parts which I have been displaying this WIP with, so I would like to make the whole figure a new build. As you ccan see I have cut the cockpit quite far back and shaved the inside out as much as possible so the head can tuck away nicely inside. I have decided not to put the shoulders from Silverbolt onto the seeker base, one because it wasnt big enough and I thought it didnt look that great either. I looked at the G1 character from the cartoon and his shoulders are square, but the G1 toy were angled a bit. If you are attempting this build yourself. It is important to try and leave the tabs at the end of the cut so you can attatch the Dino head securely. Still an art to do and make it secure. I have a formula for this proceedure which has been achieved twice befor on previous builds like this. As you can see, I have a silver plate above the waiste area, and the hope of this will be to cover the gaps behind beak in robot mode. It is in planning stage at the mo this bit, but my thought is to have it on a hinge which willfold forward to allow the arms to tuck away the fold it back over the hands in the alt mod. I hope this idea work, it will completely hide them and just be a good addition to this Masterpiece Swoop. I want to change the joints in the hips to a cross breed Neo Shifter/Lego Knights Kingdom I like to make. Then take the rachet joints out of both knee's, this will make him super posable (I hope thats a word!), ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Finally a quick pic to you can see the 2 figures which are blended together. LOL! I could call him Frankenstien Swoop, haha only joking. |

Also filed it down to make it thinner to allow the hands to fit in. Then I had to reshape it so the dino head would sit snug up to it too and the hands tuck away nicely behind it in the alt mode.

Started working in the dino/alt head. The open section where the robot head tucks away is part of the alt head. I need to built that with some zoids and seeker bits. Ive shown pics of both modes so you can appreciate where its going. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ive built the dino head up and managed to have the robot mode without a gap in the torso/tummy area. Put the ball joints and the bacl panel. Heres a pic, and I will do another update tomorrow. I would like to slim down the skirt armour because they seem to be a bit on the thick side and put the new leg joints in. ![]() |

Tweaked the shoulders and done his bum to. I will fill the back of the legs, making flaps that fold open for alt mode to cover gap between legs and back. Modded the tops of the legs, did my signature leg/hip mod. Long way to go, but heres a pic update. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

This is the first time any ones built one out of both. I'm finding I like this best as it's squared up really nicely. Took me a sec to see you've got the Skywarp waist and upper leg while using Silverbolts lower leg. Very different, very nice, and very solid work d00d. |

I love this build and would like to do it again. Its has been full of challanges but I think I would be able to reproduce ot again with the same parts. Fun, fun, fun | |
