Another commission under my belt! This is for Lotussouljah who actually commissioned it well before the RTS version came out. Started life as an Energon Onslaught. The head is actually scratchbuilt and was made 2 years before RTS came out. The chest, abdomen and back are 95% scratchbuilt with the exception of the RTS bit and G1 Beastboxs' forarms. The "mirror" bit in his abs is from a Legends Red-Alert figure with a styrene hinge. The scope hinges are a mix of Deluxe Classics Megatrons turret arm and Bionicle parts while the scope itself is an X-Wing exhaust port and styrene. His rifle is an RTS Jazz pistol with a RTS Wheeljack weapon added to the front and built up with styrene. I put a lot into this fella and hope you all enjoy!
Thanks man. 'm trying to upload the rest of the gallery but ALL the uploads are failing. I have NOOO idea what the hell is wrong.
Looks fantastic, good to see it finally done. Hopefully your uploading problem will be worked out soon. By the way, any chance of a group pic of him, Wheeljack, and Ratchet?
Thanks. Yeah as soo as I can get the pic loading problem solved. Every pic I try fails, properly sized an all. Completely lost.
How nice is that? All those bits & pieces were definitely sacrified for the greater good... & the paintjob? What can I say? Kick-ass job Mate!
THAT is Perceptor. Go work for Hasbro and show them how it's done. None of these silly "We need to update the characters for today's blah blah blah." I had the same issue.
ask and ye shall recieve! Just added that pic to the first page. Thanks dude! I'm all about the greater good when it comes to a project. Thanks a lot man. Yes sir, I have a whole assembly line of commissions that have taken me just way to long to get out. Finally have all the distractions put aside. Appreciate the compliments dude! I agree Thanks Nah, I'd rather be a lone designer. That way I don't have heads over my shoulder saying "make that rounder" or "thats great! now make it different". But I'm glad to hear the uploading prob isn't just something I was doing wrong.
I like it THAT'S when I know I have done well.....ahhh the love! I may end up making a few to throw on ebay since the mold is so easy to find. Thanks!
