This was my entry for the Sector 70 G2 repaint challenge. I know that this has been done many times, but he was on my to do list and I had the mold in hand so I went ahead. No mods involved here, just the stock figure and head. I was going to use a E. Starscream head, but I realised I'd end up wrecking the Starscream head, plus by that point I'd already painted the stock head.

    ... first!

Seriously though, I think was a cool choice to work with, and I especially like how the yellow stands out & how you've made it a point to add differing detail to places that could easily have just been done with gray or something. Also, and while I know this isn't exactly a new thing or whatnot, I think it's cool that you went pretty light on the rough appeal, as to keep it in line with your G2 intent.

Well for example, lets look at the 2nd last picture, and how the rear fan or whatever's colour matches that of the outer blades... but looks to be a lot darker/scuffier, which makes sense couse you'd expect it to be dirtier.

Thanks guys :)  I did put a lot of work into this one.

Paints are all citadel acrylics, base coated with foundation paints and then dry brushed over with lighter shades. The pinks are a custom mix, but again they were citadel ones, unfortunately I can't remember which colours I used :(

It was all coated in purity seal, which gives a nice even matt finish.
