Was rather irritated initially at Revenge of the Fallen, since the Twins were promised, and I thought they'd meant Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. I was even more hopeful when Sideswipe was announced... and irritated as all hell when the Twins turned out to be Skids and Mudflap. Decided to repaint Sidearm Sideswipe as Sunstreaker to go with the DOTM Sideswipe... after all, they were twins, but they weren't completely alike, and I figured I'd try to keep true to that spirit.
thanx. XD I used Tamiya Color Gold spray paint... was initially thinking about using Champagne Gold as a more subtle one, but that came out... too... silver?... this one works fine. XD thinking of putting up a thread showing the twins together. XD

I commented on the twins thread, but I had to say again that you did a great job. I think I may just copy you, instead of making a yellow custom for Sunstreaker. I always looked at this mold as a perfect choice for the custom.
Heh, go for it man. XD I always thought the Sidearm variant was ideal for Sunny... the headsculpt is already kinda different, and the weapons and the bodywork make him different enough from Sides to be convincing. XD
Nice job man...I have a Sunstreaker custom in my future as well but it will be a reshell. Love the gold, as stated before its perfect!
nah... could, but I didn't want to?... Sunstreaker never had flames... if I was trying to do TRACKS however, I woulda tried keeping them flames on, and trying to make him wings...
Excellent idea using the different mold for Sunstreaker. Superb homage to the original twins! Your paint is crisp and clean. Great job.
