here are two pictures of what the robot mode currently looks like, I have added shoulderarmor, kneearmor and thigharmor. It is still fully transformable, and I hope to finish the car chassis in the following month.
and here is the carmode so here are some pictures of the car mode, In one of the pictures you can see the inside of the car, I hope to be able to give it an actual interior. I still have to make the whole thing look a little more smooth, but at least it's better then when I had the entire thing covered in greenstuff, it weights a lot less too
Wow! this is really nice! I like it alot! I suggest that you do some resculpting on the head; I wouldn't scrap it but, just add more to the sides to make it wider. I think this is absolutely astounding what you did here!
I am going to build a new face, as I want to put in some leds and I want the face to be able to move, so you can give it a few different expressions. The current face was just so I had an idea of the room needed in car mode.
looks great! my one problem is that the roof of the car looks really out of proportion (i.e. too tall.) but other than that, this should truely be ultimate.
Thanks, also about the roof, I have scaled the car mode after battle blade bumblebee, so the scale should be right
This piece clearly shows a great amount of work here. I think you've done really well with what you have shown us I took the title to refer to the size as well. I mean, we have artists here who constantly use terminology such as "Action Master" and "Masterpiece" for customs that really don't fit those so well. From my viewpoint, an artist can call their work whatever they want, but the community at large isn't forced to agree with it - they simply have to acknowledge that's what the artist has labeled their work.
That's going to be cool! Do you think you'd be able to make heads with moving parts that fit human alliance bee?
In theory it should be possible to build such a head on a human alliance scale, but it would be really finnicky. As I want to give the face a moveable jaw, moveable eyebrows and moveable cheekbones. That's one of the reasons I that this project is such a large scale.
@hthrun, I am still working on the head, and even on the large scale I work on it is really difficult to get the parts to move, because there needs to be enough clearance for the parts to move, and on a smaller face it might not even be noticeable if you move the eyebrows for example. I still think it might be possible to build a face for the human alliance bee that has different expressions, but that would be a job for someone with more patience than me. As I have already glued my fingers together countless times, and this would be even worse if the parts were even smaller
give me your face! so here are some pictures of the new face I made for bumblebee The face has moving cheekbones, moving eyebrows and a moving jaw. There is also room for leds in the eyes and the entire helmet and back of the head can be removed to gain easy access to the eyes. I still have to add some details to the battle mask, but I am quite happy with how this turned out
I've finished the battlemask as you can see in the pictures there are clear pieces of plastic that fold in front of the eyes, so I could put the enginepart things on top of head in the slots of the battle mask.
whattahell?.. if i only half of ur scratch building skills..i'd be happy!!..keep 'em coming bro..this looks fantastically awesome!!
@hthrun, I've thought about the idea of making a moveable head for a human alliance bumblebee, and I came up with a mod that would be easier to make(I think, as I don't own a ha bee) in the picture you can see 4 red cirkels on bee's face, this is were you should drill 4 very very small holes. the parts you can see to the right of the face you have to build out of styrene and also build mirrored. then all you have to do is put a pin through the eyebrows and the cheekbones, in the place I've marked with the red circle, and put the pin in the corresponding holes in the face. I don't know if I have explained it clearly enough, if not, then let me know.
I see what you mean, good idea! I don't want to risk wrecking my Bee's head, but if I would be able to get another head some how I'd give it a shot. I'd need to get a much smaller drill bit and some styrene too, though...
