I've been inactive on this site for a while, posted a couple unfinished transformers, and I feel i need to get active again, but I'm doing something a little different. As we all know, the D-ARTS Megaman X is totally awesome with his massive poseability and faces and effects etc. etc.... HOWEVER He has no armor. I'm starting a poll, you get to choose what armor you want to see grafted onto him. The choices we have are the Max armor from X3, Force armor from X4/X5, the Ultimate armor from X4/X5/X6, or the Gaea armor from X5. I will keep this up for 3 days, and at the end of the period, I will get to work. Now, GO!
I've been thinking about that one myself, personally. But this one is for the fans, and I cannot be the one to choose. Thanks for your input! With enough luck and popularity, you may get your wish. On a side note, if I can break even on ebay in the end, there will be many more to come....
They are doing the X1 armor, so it's possible they may do the other game armors, so you might want to hold off.
I always liked X1 or X2's armor to anything later in the series.. but they never made those figures, so Ultimate it is!
I have considered doing RX, but I backed away solely because i want the majority of the armor to be translucent and my casting skills are....well let's just say they aren't that great. But I do plan on doing an entire series of armors and characters so hang in there.
Which is that one? Where can I order those, once they are released? Are they releasing robot masters as well?
No Robot Masters appear to be slated; this looks to be an X-only line. The line is Bandai/Tamashii Nations' D-Arts figures. The X has been released (with a chromed version exclusive sold at SDCC), with Zero (X1 ver.) and X1 Full Armor being released this month and next month, respectively. HobbyLinkJapan has both available for pre-order, at roughly $40 a pop.
