Fist I want to apologize for the pic quality (cam phone)

I like the mold of the DOTM BB IMHO It's pretty close to the movie version (as close as you are going to get for a RL transforming toy) what I don't like is the "Mechtech" weaponry for it. So bored at home, I took it apon myself to make something that might come close to BB's blaster without heavy modding or limb replacement. What I came up with is taking apart, cutting and trimming a TFM BB blaster/blade to where it would fit on the DOTM BB's arm with the hand folded back. The paint isn't pretty and the fit is a WIP but with my next version it will be better. If anyone takes this and runs with it, I would love to see it :)

On a side note, I'm still no where done detailing the figure itself :)

Great idea! I have a few of those guns lying around, I'll have to try this out.
Are you planning to store it in car mode? I noticed he's got a lot of space the same spot the other Bee does...

I have thought about it, i need to find my other TFM BB blaster/blade and see if I can make it fit better and store-able in car (same place you are talking about)

Hey...I loved this idea and I realized that I had a movie stealth bumblebee with this gun sitting around so I attempted this idea and this is what I got

I left the blade in and it is still functional it's just gotta have a few kinks worked out (that way bee can have a gun and a blade =] )

    Here's the inside for reference
    [IMG]

    And the outside
    [IMG]

Basically i just took a pair of cutters and trimmed it down till the hand fit it...right now, it's not perfect and it hold on just not the greatest but Bee has a gun woooo. Idk what all colors of this gun there are but the Stealth BB gun almost matches the grey plastic perfect too. Like I said the blade does still work it just doesn't hold on the hand that well.

If you wiggle it, it will fall off but for display it will hold nicely. Basically the gun wedges on with friction and the gear part of the blade on the inside is what presses the hand up against it to hold it.

Let me know what you think and Thanks for this great idea tannim31. I'll have to work more on this after work (maybe figure out a way to close the hand in so you don't see it.

Like i said WIP...I may cut the blade part out completely but idk. I'm a newby to this kind of stuff and I only have one gun to work with so I don't wanna screw it up =D

As much as I liked keeping the blade and it worked I ended up cutting it out. Now instead of folding the hand, I cut the gun enough that the hand slides inside the gun. It's almost snaps in and I can hold him hanging by the gun and shake him and it wont fall off. I'm at work but once I get home I'll post some new pictures

Cool! I'll have to check, but I might already have a gun with the blade broken. That would be perfect for this...

I put some in Battle Blades BB (see sig) after seeing savio-prime do it. I don't want to for this one. As long as a TF's hands are not in a curling pose I think I'll leave them and avoid the extra cutting...

I was thinking a shapeways project would be good for something like this, the hands are big enough that they might make a good candidate. Alas it's beyond my skills or I would do it myself :(

i used a preview rotf bee's cannon with a lego "cap" so fit in the port, because that figure pretty much sucks compared to all the other deluxes.

Can you show us some more about how you mounted that on him? I can't for the life of me figure out how you did it with a lego piece.
