question

would it be possible to salvage the silver colored parts that form the giant throwing star weapon to use as the main rotary helicoptor blades parts for vortex of rotf/classics bruticus maximus?

the reason i want to mod vortex with thos parts is because i want to give him a set of detachable main rotary sword blades weapons that can form the blades on his main rotary in heliocoptor form and double assword weapons in robot mode

One suggestion on this set. Please make the pinchers as close in color to the weapons and pinchers that come with Thundershed. Chrome would be nice, but it wouldn't go with anything else.

you should consider casting the yellow chest part in transluscent yellow plastic

 

Are you going to cast the gun and horns in the same grey as the claws that it comes it? It would be great if it matches the figure.

 

Headsculpt Reveal

Here you go fellas! The headsculpt is finalized. I will be pulling the pinchers out of thier mold soon and the weapon will follow. Stay tuned and thanks so much for all the feedback and love!

 

Hmmm...I'll prob just stick with my G1 head. The sculpt is awesome..but the open mouth makes him look like he got paid a visit from Omega Supreme.

 

yeah, not a fan of the open mouth. Can it be changed? Or have 2 heads? Also chrome FTW. CHROME!

 

Love the head sculpt! Keep the open mouth, shows just how weird these guys were.

 

spoonman already declared the head as the final sculpt. I can't say I'm a fan of the open mouth either (can't out my finger on it, kind of looks like Blitzwing actually) but maybe post-color it'll look better. Maybe take a poll for Kick-Back (since bombshell has a visor mouth) whether to have open/expression or closed mouth? In the end its still your custom and final decision is yours.

 

I can't wait to see everything finished! It's going to be so badass!

Btw, the open face looks nice in my opinion

 

Well I'm using this thread as a way to get some feedback, so a mod to the mouth is not out of the question.

 

Glad to see this is your response Spoon! I was like, dang I hope he isn't offended by me saying I don't like the open mouth. The sculpt is bad ass, but I think offering people choices of closed or open would be cool. Can't go wrong with 2 noggins!  

I wanna throw out there again, that the G1 lover in me is screaming for the chrome pincers, but I also want it to match with the claws in the grey!

ARGH!

So you know what you gotta do right, you gotta take the FP route and OFFER BOTH!!!!!!! Go hard or go home. Do like FP did with the Protector Armor fins (making them in orange and chrome gold). And make the pincers in chrome AND grey, then offer the claws in chrome too for those looking for the pincers and claws in chrome look! make the weapon in grey and chrome too. Might as well get the most out of the mold since you are making it. Just have 2 different price points.

Just a thought.
