Well Omega Spreem is done. I'm just waiting for paint to dry then I'll put him in alt mode to show the results! "Glamor" shots to follow! Discussion of the finished version starts on page 4. Updated with alt mode.. Pics show a few more places I need to touch up! But otherwise done!
Looking good! What are the parts you're using? I see Wedge's arms...but I don't recognise the main figure.
*edited in from post 1 to update post 1 to the most recent: Well I posted this yesterday then took it down.. but I saw rumblings elsewhere about the idea I've been culminating.. So I want to put this out there.. He started as a digibash yesterday.. and has progressed to this.. Comments? Paint to come soon! I plan to vary what I digibashed because I noticed his chest panel if popped up infront of his face makes a dead on spreem face. So I'll paint it differently as an alternative. Main figure is PCC undertow. The front tracks are actually from a John deer tractor toy I found at walmart for $4 (the treads ACTUALLY move too!) The gun for the dual barrel cannon is a repro Punch/counterpunch gun. The head "knob" thing is a gun from a junker starwars TF I had. And you nailed it on the tracks.
I promise you it will be.. I've got some primer pics to upload later.. and the rest will come either a night or two before tfcon.. or earlier if I can't resist.
Nicely done J! Really great use of parts. Hopefully as you're painting him up you don't get hit with a wave of nausea lol
This is true.. If Spreems Women's taught me anything.. It's that the colors are only to get all the ladies..
Going to have to Sand some paint down and re-spray a little. Due to the heat, what I normally use as a thinner started gumming up while spraying.. Besides it's a bit too shinny.. I may try to make it a bit more flat. But here's a teaser color. It's an intereting color pink that looks purplish when not directly hit by light.. I dig it.
Didn't like that shade of magenta.. And spraying yellow was a pain! Unfortunately the coat is thicker than i'd like, but not a whole bunch I can do about it with my normal airbrush not available right now. Still the results seem fairly solid.
