    WiP thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/405456-mystery-tf-wip-any-guesses.html

Really happy to have this done, cause I've wanted to make it for a looooong time. He's non-transforming, but i'm ok with that. His transformed form is all that different from his bot mode anyways. He's big. Roughly Ultra sized. Enjoy!

Note: I know that sword should be Snarls, but I just always thought it looked so much cooler than Grimmys so I went with it instead. Its scratch built from styrene and has a magnet in the handle that locks on perfectly to the metal pin in MP SS's hands.

THAT'S THE BEST GRIMLOCK THATS EVER BEEN CREATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should try working on a model of his alt. mode, or mabye even a transformable version of him.

    Fenrir (Name?) - Fenrir

you can actually still see alot of them over at seibertron. Not as many as I'd like, and none of the Dynobots, but some of the others

So I do my daily website browsing routine: check e-mail, movie news, listen for new music, and then run through the action figure websites..

I hit TFW, then Fwoosh, and after that I check up Figure Realm. I browse through the custom showcase and that's when I couldn't believe my eyes:

    MYTH WARS GRIMLOCK!!

I recognized the shoulder hair/fur design.. but still I did double-takes.. Someone actually made this thing..! This five year old design.. Out of a Jack Kirby Hulk.. I finally hit the thumbnail..

A flood of memories filled me.. TF Myth Wars, the crazy concepts, the arguments and debates, the great designs, coming home excited after work just to see what others posted, and to post what designs were drawn up during work.. I will always remember how fun it was to come up with new designs for characters we grew up with; and batting off ideas at each other to see what would work or what would make sense. And I thought it was a great dynamic to set it towards mythological creatures.. a very interesting concept. We were fully entrenched in this idea of mythology and how the Transformers would play role in affecting it. It was like a fantasy Beast Wars.. literally and figuratively.

But now we have something in 3D..! A Myth Wars Grimlock.. A gargoyle who transforms into Grimlock.. designed by the great TFMaster..
This is amazing, Whiskey. A heavy amount of sculpting went into this which shows how much work you really did; it is a thought process, but a natural thought process.
It's just really cool to see a design fully realized to this level. TFM created the Dinobot/gargoyle idea, he even did some sketches. I tried to stay true to his designs and his ideas of transformations; so what we have here, which Whiskeytango created, is very much true to to the original TFM sketches. That very instance is what is so exciting: to see a TFMaster design.

I never thought I'd see anymore Myth Wars stuff again (let alone action figures). But to see this design made into an action figure; it's a really great feeling. I wanted to see a lot of these Myth Wars designs (not just my own) made into toys.. To actually see it, it's very flattering, I feel honored.

    Thanks, Whiskeytango.

This brought back some great memories. Just like the other old times, I never thought I would see anything from Myth Wars every again. You did a fantastic job. You should be very proud.
