This is an instructional on how to assemble a chain weapon for the transformers reveal the shield wreck gar. The chain weapon is made completely out of Legos and requires no glue.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this idea!

I've never painted them so I don't know...

but this same method makes an awesome chain for the matrix.

Alternately, you can use the chain that comes with the first Pursuit of Cobra Storm Shadow. All you need to do is cut down the four edged bits on each end. You're left with what are essentially 5mm pegs.

I did this for my custom Protector Armor Fire Scythe to turn it into a flail, but it works well for a Wreck-Gar chain too, with the added advantage that you can plug in weapons into the chain ends.

Legos are made from ABS, as far as I know, so they should hold paint just fine.

Most Lego plastic takes paint very well, so I think the chains would be okay. It's the softer, rubbery stuff that I'm not sure of.

I have a few of these chains myself and have been reserving them for my Junkions. I might make different weapons out of them, though.
