I feel like I have been doing builds non-stop for the last month, so I decided to knock out a few quick repaints. These are guys that I have wanted to do for a while. I found molds that allowed me to execute their "3rd modes." Downshift was a modified Tracks, which allowed me to have his trademark missile launchers on the sides of his head, and Overdrive was a modified Red Alert, which had a nice feature that I could build his chest guns into. All in all they turned out pretty good, and will be available on e-bay this Sunday (along with a super nifty, extra special bonus item TBA!) Thanks for looking!

These are FANTASTIC!! As soon as I saw the Wheeljack mold I said, now i can do some Omnibots. These came out better than I could have imagined man. Dang!!

Nicely done! I recognized both of them right away!  

I have to admit, I feel like Overdrive's robot mode is just a bit of a stretch... the chest transformation seems a bit awkward to me, though the flip-up guns on the front grill are inspired!

Good to see these underappreciated TFs get some love. Where's Camshaft?

I thought the same thing when I picked up the Tracks mold. Once I realized you could flip the legs around, i started building up a Downshift plan!

Well, there is the super nifty, extra special bonus item for the auction.  

Yeah, the only thing I wanted to do different on Overdrive was fill in his "waist" area. After looking at the G1 figure, most of the design cues are there, the car mode just isn't as "pointy."
The cool thing about the mold is that the chest can actually lock into place like that by utilizing the "slide" mechanism in the hood.
