Here's the other project i'm working on alongside Abominus. LANDCROSS! This guy is being made from Powerlinx/Superlink figures and will only sacrifice the new head for the double combined modes. I wanted to keep things simple. The mold for Waver comes from a reworked Mirage. The only thing missing from the pics are the hydrofoils and a few panels that need to be screwed on. He will form the crotch and upper legs as you can see in the pics. I'm keeping the land-based vehicles close to the original figure but the boat, shuttle and jet are going to be heavily reworked. Wing will be a re-working of Rodimus and a movie 1 Overcast. Waver is of course from Mirage and Mach will be made from parts of an Energon jetfire and another Energon figure. Tiny Update Figured out how i'm going to combine Landcross. I decided to use the abdomen and arms/legs from Energon jetfire as the left over combiner bits are going to form some sort of booster-leg-armor for combin ation with one of the bots. I'm calling it GROMIT as an homage to "The Wrong Trousers". The head, feet, hands will of course part-form.
