This is my first finished custom of any kind although I have a lot of works in progress. I mainly did it so I can buy more paints for the Transformers projects I have going on. He's painted with Krylon gray, and testors acrylics for the hair, brows, nails and eyes. The mouth I just taped off because it still looked good. Finished him off with a couple coats of Future Finish for durability and protection. The shorts are custom made by my wife since the purple ones were ratty and craptastic and I thought it would be much nicer to have blue shorts since that's what Gray Hulk wears. Here's a before picture and a bunch of afters. I know it is somewhat plainish, but I'm still working on my techniques and haven't perfected the dry-brush on non-robots. I also am working on an Icons Wolverine with custom metal claws and repainted brown and yellow old school colors to go with the old school Hulk. I have this fella on eBay right now, so check it out if you want! Thanks for looking. There have been a couple incarnations of Gray Hulk, and some of them do wear clothes, like the Mr. Fixit version, and the craptastic 80's version, but this one only wears shorts. I guess I could add the tattered remnants of a white tank top, but I'm done with this guy. Thanks for lookin'.
Awesome work! The paint looks factory! I love the last pic of Hulk and Spidey flexing Killer work man! Keep'm coming.
Thanks guys. I have some plans for some DCUC figures, but I'm keeping under wraps, and there are most definitely some TF customs that are for my eyes only in the mean time...er unless you count my wife and daughter.
very nice I would make the final coat matte and not glossy ,but different people have different opinions
Yeah, it was the first time I used Future, so I'm still learning, but it's really not that shiny in person.
