I'm back from a week long getaway and boy I didn't expect to see such a long conversation here. TQX, I have complete confidence you had assembled the Thugger correctly. As some of the board members here have suggested, my main suspicion for the problem is that either Shapeways gave you a bad print (warpage, wrong size, etc) or there is a clump of powder stuck in the gaps of the lower feet which might be obstructing transformation. As for the floppy feet, a bit of glue on the ball joints' balls might help tighten those joints. If I remember correctly, the balls connecting to the thighs maybe larger than the balls at the knees. It is not advisable to assemble them contrary to what the instructions show. I apologise that you have had all these issues with the Thugger. I have never seen or heard of similar problems with other buyers, so I'm curious about this fault you've discovered. Have a look at your Thugger again and see if there is any excess powder. Brush out or carve to fit. If you still face problems with the Thugger, pm me and I'll resolve it personally. Quote:

Yes I agree, Shapeways print quality has been iffy sometimes, but I know that they are putting in moves to make their products more reliable, which is good for you, good for me!@Ryoku Man, I knew you had an army going on there but I didn't realise it's an ARMADA. ![]() | |||||||
