Wow! I've tried to do some articulated finger work and those teeny tiny pieces can really be a pain. Looks like you've really got your technique down. Nice work!
I'm also wondering how well they can hold a gun... I'd probably get them if the back of the hands looked the same as the back of the RotF Prime hands... EDIT: Never mind, I just saw your other thread for RotF/DotM hands. Sweet!!!
Hey Z. Can you tell me what ones are sized right for Alternators? Also, on the MP Seeker hands, I don't see a stalk or ball on the end of the hand there....do they not come with one?
Oh, I see, the 1/60 Gundam. Definitely interested! My 6yo son just mentioned it'd be cool to get a hand for human alliance Bumblebee. Would you consider making that sometime?
Not to sound harsh, but are these just recasts of Hasbro/Takara hands? I am comparing the Seeker ones and they seem to be 1:1 copies.
that's the whole idea I guess... so that you don't have to buy a whole figure to just use it for the hands
Take the time to read what I wrote in the actual sales thread and it will explain what I have done. Only ONE set of hands above is a 1:1 recast. Also.... look below, these guys answer it well.
Also, some people have asked what I mean by "wire reinforcement". Here is a pic to show. The copper section is wire that holds the fingers on the knuckles yet still allows them full range. I also received several questions about the transformation ability ROTF Prime would have with these hands. The hands do not affect the transformation ability at all outside of some positioning. They are really just about the same size as the standard TFTM/ROTF hands as can be seen below: If I can answer any other questions let me know!
