Minor/Repaint: pcc heavytread to 'universe combiner - brawl'

    hello. i am Nutahal.

    first of all, many thanks to SeaLime who suggested i should post my Transformers customs in TFW2005.COM. yes, we're both from CYBERTRON PHILIPPINES.

    PCC HEAVYTREAD TO 'CROSSFIRE BRAWL'

    i removed the bright blue connector points and Autobot logo of PCC HeavyTread. to attach PCC HeavyTread to that CrossFire-02 foot securely, i applied a few, thin layers of clear coating on that small, black peg infront of PCC HeavyTread, so that it'll adhere tightly once its inserted in any of those two holes in the foot;

    i customized a 'universal connection point' with a junker ratchet joint than can be attached at PCC HeavyTread's rear in alt mode;

    the 'front knee part' off PCC HeavyTread has three 'locking points'; one at the bottom, and two on the sides.

    now, he's no longer PCC HeavyTread but Universe Combiner / Scout - Combaticon Brawl.

    if you dont mind me asking what did the ratcheting joint come from? also if you turn onslaughts legs to the side so that his feet stick out to either side the turret should be able to point straight up to look more g1 and also help hide the new combiner port. just an idea, this is awesome though. its just made e bite and order pcc heavy tread from tfsource

    i love this mod ever since i first saw it back in january. you can use this for tons of other combiners.

    nutahal its actually seali_me. lol.

    i had this idea when i first saw heavytread, he screams brawl and i'm happy to see that he seems to fit very well with the proportions of bruticus. nice job

    could heavytread be modified using tank limb blast offs upper body and combiner port as the spare parts

    could the front of heavytreads tank also be modified by salvaging the connector poitns from tank limb blastoffs feet so that heavytread could more effectivly connecto the left bruticus foot in combiner mode?

    If im correct, which I believe I am, its from a Movie 1 or ROTF Prime figure. If im wrong, please let me know. This is a must for anyone who has any version of Bruticus from Energon to ROTF and the FP add-on kits.

    Sweet mod. It would be cool if a shapeways connection point could be merged with a cheap joint to make this work.

    Yeah i believe your right. Thanks this is the last thing bruiticus needed. Its just a shame it makes the rest of the energon combiners look even worse

    could you please post a tutorial on the matter showing step by step pictures and instructions please

    a lot of fellow fans myself included want to do this for our fansproject bruticus set

    Man, I knew someone was going to use PCC Heavytread as Brawl and you sir did just that. Now that looks sweet.

    Question, doesn't your new adaptor piece make brawl a tad longer then swindle? ive been trying a few different locations and notticed this issue. or am i just in the wrong location?

    I wonder if ripping the Combiner port out of another figure would fit on Heavytread well.

    This is exactly what I wanted to do with Heavytread as well - currently I have him acting as a leg for my Bruticus, but haven't started fabricating a connector piece yet, Bruticus is just leaning on Heavytread. It actually balances surprisingly well lol so it still displays pretty well for the moment. Now if only there was a better Vortex figure, then Bruticus would be complete!
