All NEW Pics 2/27 A commission for a repeat customer 100% full repaint that I painted for realism, wear and tear, and added missing paint apps.
My man, thank you!! No, Jazzman has his own very unique way of rusting effects which is outstanding, this one however has been a commission request for weeks.
That's real clean SON, the metal looks so.. fresh. hah good job though, i saw this guy half way done when you were helping me out. Glad to see it's almost completely done. I'm sure your customer will love it. Can't wait to see what you do with the axe. I need to get some more paints then I can work on my bumble bee.
I agree Zac, not overkill just enough.. LOL, I believe his Bumblebee wasn't sitting n a junkyard for 20yrs! LOL Very well put man, looks great man! can't wait to see it finished.
What time, I'll go too man! Thanks Travis, sublte is the way to go sometimes! lol, silver man! It's actually Testors silver and model master chome trim.
Needs a little more scuffs here and there. I almost didn't get what the wear and tear was supposed to be because it's so minimal and looks odd next to the amazingly clean parts. The movie bots, Bumblebee especially are all scuffed and scraped in robot mode. The yellow paint is amazing, though.
Thanks man, I may end up adding more wear and tear for the next one The customer passed this one with a satisfactory thumbs up so he is done!
I love this thing!!!! This is one of my favorites man, when I bought my bumblebee figure this is exactly what I had in mind for mine and you brought it to life. So awesome man, really great job. The axe is perfect!
your drybrushing techniques have always amazed me. here they seem to make the metal in bb's thighs/torso/arms/hands/face look like REAL metal. great work!
Thanks, this one was a real pain in the a$$, won't do another one for a while Thanks, that is MUCH appreciated! No problem man, and thanks for both the Sig and for commenting on Bee! Thanks Zonghui, I try to create realism in dry brushing as much as I possibly can and I am glad it shows! Thanks bro! How's that Devy coming along? That is one INTENSE custom man, I hope to see it in all its glory soon Thanks again dude! Come over when you can and I'll show you how to make one like this Although I really like his mod work, the customer didn't request any of the mods for this one. I have another Bee I'll paint up down the road and I do plan on doing the split chest and ball joint wrists for sure!
