EDIT: Bypass Sword Set Available here, for $6. EDIT: Now Painted: An upgrade set for Breacher. Comprises 3 swords and a sheath, fits on Breacher with no mods. Parts: Breacher's new sheath: Draw your sword! Now for the three different swords, starting with the Upright Blade: Angle Blade: Direct Blade: Obviously, the sheath only holds one sword at a time, however three blades are included for different poses. One at right angles to his arm, one at 45 degrees, and one parallel, so he can do most any slashing pose. And the sheath has patterns on it, a decorative engraving on one side and the Chinese character for Water on the top, in case that white is too hard too see in the photos. Will paint soon.
Would be even neater if the individual swords could clip on to each other, like that Predaking cleaver stick of doom.
Tread, you have enough work in this that on your siggie you should link it to your shapeway stuff =) its really neat!!
This is pretty awesome. I just made an order on shapeways a few days ago too. This will have to wait for my next big batch order.
Shop link has been set up, but i need to delete lots of old models and do some housekeeping. Also, glad to report SW sent me a letter saying two sets have been ordered.
They're warming up to it. Shapeways seems to be fine with them. At least now i don't need to get a part-time job, which is always nice.
You have a lot of nice stuff in your store section. I completely missed the "insecticon Add on" does it have a thread here? And can the shoulder cannon and sword set be attached at the same time on Breacher?
The swords and cannon use the same port, therefore only one can be used at a time. I've sent you a PM about the insecticon add on, Asphalt.
Now Painted: So, there you have it. Painted. With Breacher. As you can now see, the sheath does actually have a lot of detail. I added a raised pattern on the back (the sheath was designed with an oriental theme in mind, though the authenticity of that is debatable. ), which i've highlighted in yellow on my copy. Also, on top of the sheath is another symbol, shui, the chinese character for Water. I figured it matched the primarily blue Breacher, especially given he's partnered with Seaspray. All three blades can be stored in the sheath, though only one at a time, obviously.
