This is so bad-ass it's ridiculous. I love everything about the design on this, and the hydraulic-cylinders on the legs just tops it off! I actually got to meet TFMaster at my first Botcon in 2006, and saw the Menasor he did. He was crazy & colorfull, I was glad I had the chance to meet him in person because I think it was later that year he passed away. It seems I remember both yours and his Menasor and maybe even the R.I.D. version he did on Transtopia? Again, amazing work man, I absolutely love your style. ...And I also love the group shot with the other guys!
STUNNING!! The individual alt modes are perfect and the planning process and difficulty level of this piece really makes finishing such a piece is probably the best thing about it, beautiful piece my friend!!!!
Thanks Mike. Always nice to hear someone with such a variety of customs finds this impressive. Not sure how much it weighs but it stands 25 incges tall. .....for crushing puny lil deluxe scaled figures. I always wondered what happened to his work. It's good to know it's well taken care of. I'm also pumped that "the" Optimus Prime found this project to be interesting. Thank you. Thanks d00ds. Good to know the efforts are appreciated. The trailer mechanics stumped me quite a few times but managed to pull through. From one MP scale basher to another, thank you for the kind words bro. Thanks man. Amazingly, Menasors parts are not only useful in alt mode, but they are far more detailed than my Bruticus parts. I'm not too good at doing faces. Something I have to work on. It's my second non-masked face and I experimented with articualting the mouth and eyebrows so that may have contributed. I know whatcha mean about the forearms so I turned them around to see what they look like and prefer it with the trailer bits to the back. ......and thanks for the honest feedback.
Thanks d00ds. I definitely won't be attempting anything like this again and am incredibly lucky it turned out as it did. It was a total exercise in patience and determination. I'm stoked that so many found it to be worthy of comment. Gah.... too.... lazy...to weigh.... him. But I did get some goofy poses. ....but no, not overly stable. Lots of articulation but difficult to handle something this big and weighing as much as it does. Thanx man. Appreciate it. This is a huge honor to have the king of massive builds enjoy this. I still remember seeing your project way back in the day and it blew me away. What d00d doesn't love bikini clad hawties. .......oh, and Devastator was on top the world too. That would mean I have five mouths to feed. Damn. Thanks for the love man. Indeed. Planning everything was tough, but nothing was as tough as pushing forward with the project after so many setbacks. Great to have such an expert combiner builder appreciate the effort.
Amazing work. Especially the sword. Since you bothered to make everything fit back into the trailer, does that mean the individual cars return to car mode? I'd love to see a picture of the Stunticons as a convoy. I'll admit, I'm not really feeling the face. The Chestpiece/Car seems a tiny bit too big. Fantastic work, really.
All painted in authentic colors from the time period. I own an autobody shop so I was able to use the formula computer and get the colors that were used in 1984 on these brands of cars. And thanks for the feedback.
This one is just night and day difference to your first one. Your first one was good, but this truly shows just how much you've improved on all fronts. Your Menasor here definitely ranks in my favorite customs of all time.
