Don't let the unknowledgable dumbasses get to you Delta, most of us have nothing but the utmost respect for you and your life's work
Hey Delta Star, it's quite the honor to receive your compliments! Once again, thanks for the time and and energy you've put into this set and into everything Reprolabels puts out: it should be more than obvious to anyone how much effort and passion goes into all of this. I love the Reprolabels stuff and I always know I'll be satisfied with what I order. Count me in as one of the people with nothing but respect for you and your work (and expect many more orders from me in future)!
If you can make stickers that fast and cheap, you should go into business... Wow, I'd actually really like to do that! I bet my son would find it really fun, too... EDIT: Rats, I just checked and it'd be about a 15 hour drive...
Lemme just throw my hat in with the chorus of "Thanks for all you do!!!" The straight repros are grand, and the "upgrade" sets make my collection worth owning. Frankly I'm surprised you offer this all as cheaply as you do! "I don't even consider working in photoshop real work" (sic) is about as telling a statement as I can imagine... D/L
expensive machines or not, the quality of the stickers is top notch. For something I can apply 25 years after the fact, and have it be a perfect replacement for the originals in look, feel, and durability.... the cost is worth it for me. If you go buy a label sheet from staples and print it on a 200$ inkjet printer... you have to be kidding me if you think that is comparable.
i agree with @hthrun, if its indeed that easy making toy stickers, then there should be a lot of company out there making these stickers already. And Reprolabels would have many competitions already, but thru the years i have seen none. bought some stickers from Reprolabels last year, all i can say is their stickers are as good as the original. keep it up Reprolabel.com!!!!
Hey, I appreciate it as much as the next guy when someone calls bs. Kudos to you for being a skeptic. The only problem is there are hundreds of people in the collector community who've watched me build this thing from the start. The response you're seeing isn't because I've brainwashed people - it's just that they know you're wrong for a fact. I've been an active member of the Transfan community since before I knew what the internet was. When I started making labels back in 1999, I was already a trusted member. Yes, at the time, I was using a $300 printer, and they were... well... crappy. Then I got a $1000 printer to keep it going. Then an $8,000 printer. I used that for years before realizing I needed to step it up. There are some very notable people who have seen it build up to this point every step of the way. Do I do other kinds of printing? Sure. Last year I launched a product aimed at other print shops, to help pay for the machine that I bought for Reprolabels. It now accounts for ten percent of my printing (big whoop), and I started this well after buying this machine. Labels are as cheap as water because, well, everything is as cheap as water when you make millions of them. We print runs of 4-5 sets at a time, because with an inventory of 400 sets, that's the only way to do it. We can't just run 100,000 upgrade sets for G1 Cloudburst, you know. And labels are an extremely difficult thing to get right. Every time we upgrade our machine, it takes months to find suitable stock, adhesive, ink durability, cutting accuracy and graphics conversions and not to mention huge dollar amounts. I wish you could put yourself in my shoes. The position you're taking is false, but more importantly it's incredibly insulting. You might have stopped to consider the fact that you don't have a clue what you're talking about. You don't have any basis for your arguments whatsoever.
Delta, don't let him get to you. You don't need to justify anything. Anyone who has ever bought anything from you would never complain about the prices. I've been buying stickers from you since 2004 and have never been anything but satisfied. I love the Fansproject Warbot upgrade set. It looks unfinished and bland without it. I also have the X5 and X9 sheets already and I'm looking forward to X11. @bmbloo You said, "I'm more inclined to believe you have the necessary equipment in your line of work, that you use after-hours." Since we are making unfounded assumptions he's mine. You sound like an spoiled child who wants something he can't have. Most likely because you spent all your allowance on something else and your parents won't give you any more money. Reprolabels isn't Walmart. They don't have sweat shops in India. They are a small company who does incredible work. If you only would purchase some of their sticker sheets you would know this. I'm assuming you haven't, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this. You pay for what you get. I, for one, don't want to put low quality stickers on my collectible toys. I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one. Reprolables provides a one-of-kind, highly desired service to the fandom. My advice to you bmbloo would be to 1: Save up some money and purchase stickers from Reprolabels. See the quality firsthand. If you really like the figure you are buying the stickers for, you won't be disappointed or, 2: Have another look at their website. You can still see all they have to offer and it doesn't cost you anything. I'm not trying to start further arguments. It's just rather obvious that your previous comments are unfounded and illogical. If you don't like the prices, that's fine. But please give some thought to your statements before you make them. @Deltastar I look forward to what the future holds for Reprolabels
Delta, certainly thanks very much for your response to address the issues at hand. I actually remember when the labels "became" die-cut I haven't been around as long as Delta, but I'm still one of the few original Radicons remaining (and I'm simply proud of that). Everyone is certainly free to continue to the discussion of either the label sets here and anything Delta wishes to address. Let's make sure we just keep it civil. Also, regardless of agreeing or even disagreeing, being respectful towards Delta is essential here. Keep all of this in mind while moving forward
I've spent hundreds of dollars on Reprolables and on more than one occasion I've felt like I was the one ripping them off. Quality like this is rarely inexpensive, but somehow they manage it. Long live Reprolables!
There are a lot of ripoffs in this hobby but reprolabels isn't one of them. Good stuff that is worth the price.
Let me just say for the record that I have been buying from ReproLabels for over 6 years now, I have literally spent thousands of dollars there over that time, and regret not a single dollar of that. I stand by ReproLabels 110%. Period. The quality of their product speaks for itself.
Unfortunately I live about 10hrs away. However I've been a member of your FB group from it's beginning and would love if you did some sort of virtual tour aka video tour.
Woh, it was a tough decision to choose between the awesome and awe inspiring Trypticon upgrade stickers and this one. But Since I was getting Sixgun stickers anyway (like I had been nagging for for years...) I decided on Metroplex. Can't wait to see this citymode come alive. iDD
I just bought my upgrade sets for Metroplex the other day along with 7 or 8 other sets. The sheets might even get here tomorrow, which would be great. I bought a new Encore Metroplex just for those stickers and he arrived yesterday. I intend on doing a few mods to him, but those stickers are gonna be what makes him shine! For the record, I've been buying stickers from Delta for quite a few years and I've NEVER once been disapointed. The quality is second to NONE and the customer service is top notch as well. The fact that I bought a $100 figure, just so I could get the stickes from Delta should tell you all you need to know..
Delta, I might take you up on the offer next time I buy some stickers with you, unless you've moved, I think we're still in the same city. Would be cool to see where the magic happens.
