I wasn't too sure if I was even gonna keep him like this, but I finally figured that the head doesn't look too bad on there and he'd be a nice addition to my Classics Autobots, since for some reason, my Decepticons now out number them.

Body is from Deluxe Armda Optimus Prime, but the repaint from Cybertron.
Head is from TFTM 07 Stockade, he had a nice head sculpt, doesn't really look too movie-ish.

So this is the stage he's at now, I just need to build new stacks for his forearms and he's ready for paint, this is my favorite type of custom, simple headswap and repaint, quick and easy.

Blimey, I never noticed how well that head would work for Pipes! I've actually done Pipes from the same mould (still need to change his stacks, though), but I just decided to resculpt the Prime head.
Stockade's head is still attached to Stockade (now known as Brawn ;) ).

That's the pic that I'm using at my main reference, the Prime mold even has similar design cues that match up with G1 Pipes.
