Amazing sculpting work. Can't wait to see this one all finished. I like the fact that you decided to take the idea from the outside and continue it through to the inside of the Ark. It's an ambitious idea that should pay off well. Great job so far!

I made a Decepticon base using testors purple 1234. It's 3 gundam plates wide. I used 6 wall plates and 9 floor plates. The plates are too damn expensive.

Just wanted to update everyone on this project. Not too much new since the first post. Been busy with work and the family but finally got some time this weekend. Finished laying out the rest of the mountain and properly placing the Ark in its place. Next step is to start carving and shaping the mountain to make it look as real as possible. Once that is done, The Ark will be removed, painted and detailed. The with the Ark still removed paint and throw some washes on the mountain. Paint and detail the entry way and add some modeling sand, gravel on the ground. Then it is one to the inside. Thanks for all the positive feedback and encouragement. Really helps me keep focused and and strive for the best I can do.

    Now a little eye candy!

I see a lot of excellent work on these boards, but it takes something really special for me to make a comment... Really nicely done here! I'm officially a fan! :thumb

Took a little break from working on the outside of the Ark to do some work on the iGear panels that will line the walls. Wanted to add more detail.

I went ahead an highlighted all the lines in black, then went and drybrushed the entire panel in a burnt sienna to make it look a little aged and weathered.
