The "Fire" & "Ice" ones look stunning against the snow and the tree-bot is like a brightly colored take on something H R Giger would come up with.

    Keep 'em coming! :thumbs2:

    thanks so much...
    heres Trunxs' story
Trunx is a neither a hero nor is he a villain, hes basically a tree hugger. A hermit set out in the forest looking for a place to call home. Traveling for a very long time and feeling quite lost, he soon discovered he was found and had been where he belongs the whole time,in the forests and with the trees with whom he eventually was able to communicate and live amongst in harmony. Over time, his love for the forest and respect for the woodlands he called home began to take over his body in a balance of Govurom and nature the galaxy had never witnessed.

here are some builds i did...not painted though

Amazing work! I just got into Glyos System myself, started with a Neo Phase Pheyden and some black Phase Arm parts. I'm looking to get some more, especially a Rig! You've gotta tell me more about how you dyed those parts! I really wanna do that myself.

THANKS SO MUCH AND WELCOME! to the wonderful and addictive glyos world.
have you checked out octobertoys.com, they have a whole glyos section
as for the dyeing, i use simple RIT dye from JoAnns fabrics and crafts store :)
basically, clean with soap and water the pieces you wanna dye (to get any extra cruds/oil/dirt off. i bring water to a boil., with the dye. then lower the heat, dip and remain submerged the piece im dyeing. but i continue to check the progress by rinsing off the piece and looking under a light to make sure i get the correct intesity...after all the pieces or builds are dyed and rinsed clean with cold water, i soak in iso propyl alcohol...rubbing alc. for a few min to hours (not sure if this is necessary, but most people say to do this)

hope this helps. if ya want more specifics im happy to help :)

introducing Asher, please excuse the lack of story, there will be a short blurb about HER soon enough :)

So the alcohol comes AFTER the dye? That's it, just boil it up and dunk'em in? Wow... I had no idea it was that easy! Thanks!

yup yup. thats pretty much it just dip...
heres a quick little photo thing i did when i did my first dye job..
these are my first three dye jobs, i just did alot of reading, but basically, pot of water with some salt, RIT dye (i used 3 colors, teal, orange, scarlet) add some dye (one color at a time) heat to almost boil, i use tongs to hold the toy in the dye, periodically checking the color, when satisfied, clean with cool water. make another batch of dye, repeat process..when all dye is complete, i used isopropyl alcohol for bout 20 minute bath, rinse dry, and i clear coated with krylon crystal :)
    heres some in-process pics.
this worked for me, others probably have other ways ...but its all trial and error

@ ersico: How long did you submerge each part in the dye-bath?

    @convoymagnus: Onell Design

they differe from dye to dye, and the intensity, i would say anwhere from 1 minute (black red purple dye really fast) up to 10-15 minutes for yellow orange blue and green. again depending on intensity and checking frequently :)
and be careful, rit dye is messy and can stain countertops/utnsiles. so i would advise papertowels. and they say not to use the utensils for eating with (pot spoon mixer. anything that touches the dye) i use 1 saucer pan, a spoon to pick up the pieces and a pair of big tong/tweezers .

like Dex Antares said Onell Design is a great start, you can check out the blog and the store from that site, and there will be another toy release mid feb.
also this forum is great OctoberToys.com • View forum - Onell Design / Glyos
and also here on tfw theres an onell thread in the non-transformers toy forums.
theres a story that goes with the toys. but for me its all abou the building and fun aspect and ease of customizing...and each little person comes apart into pieces and connects by little pegs :)
checkem out. but be warned..they are addictive as hell..i got my first one on sept 29 2010, and you can see how large my collection has gotten in only 5 months :)
