So I had a customizer friend on here, SonofNemesis, help me out with a project I had going on for a while and customize some figures into the 3 bike triplets for me. I had part of it done, and with a little bit of communication via email and some creative collaboration :)  , it got done.

It involves taking the Human Alliance bike figures (1 Arcee and 2 Chromias) and turning them into a proper bike set with all 3 bike sisters (Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1)

    DSCN0537.JPG

He properly swapped the paint schemes on the Chromia and Arcee bikes (making the original Chromia red, and original Arcee blue). That way they are the correct robot representation of each character and with the correct color scheme.

Now the bigger project here was making Elita-1, because she needed a few mods as well as the paint job. He modded the right arm of the extra original HA Chromia by cutting off her license plate thing, giving it a cleaner look in robot mode. He painted a blue blade onto the same arm, making her look a lot like her cgi. Also, I had an extra HA Chromia figure, and SON cut off her rim part and added it to her hand, giving her the "wheel-hand" she has in the movie. By adding a pin, he was able to make it so that the wheel can be used to alter her hand in bot mode, and then swivel out of the way in bike mode. As you can see, he was also able to mod the arm to use her painted blue blade successfully by simply adding it to a pin as well. It can then either swivel out of the way in bike mode, or be snapped off and either placed in a little crevice like you see, or simply put aside.

I really appreciate what SonOfNemesis did for me since before I ran into him and his awesome work, the bikes were only half done, if that. I think that all 3 look amazing and incredibly close to their CGI counterparts. What do you guys think?

Sorry for the closeups being kind of blurry, my camera = not-so-good. I just wanted to show everyone the incredible detail, especially on their head sculpts.

Great work with the mods and paintjobs. :)

Aside from the unpainted rims as someone pointed out, the only other thing I can suggest is to go over them with some gloss coat. Sport bikes should be shiny. :)

Arcee and Chromia were gloss coated and look a whole lot shinier in person. Only Elita was semi-gloss coated.

This. For some reason cameras are lame that way. Elita-1 looks much purpler as well.

Very cool! Do you have a Voyager Ironhide? If so, think you can take pictures of them with Ironhide in truck mode, like in the film? I'd also like to see them in vehicle mode with Sideswipe and the Ice Cream Twins. If it's not too much trouble. If you can't do it, don't bother. ;)

I'll see what I can do. :)  I should be able to, but nor right away. I simply don't have enough time.
