UPDATED 1-29-2011 Ok, so this guy has actually been at this stage since about Thanksgiving, but i just forget to post some pics... its about 90% done, as all i have left is to add some orange/fire-ish detailing.. ----------------------------------- This is my 2nd "mold" of a Leader Class Fallen. The first one just consisted of extending the torso about 2.5-3in and then adding a neck/movable head. This time around, i have extended the Torso about 3in, extended the arms about 2in, and added ball joints all around. the Head is on a double ball joint, the shoulder and "elbow" which have 2 jointed spots are also all on ball joints now. i still plan on added bulk to the arms and extending the legs and im waiting on a foot to get in the mail so there is a stand in for that right now...dont worry that piece isnt staying there, just needed it so he could stand for the pics. here is a lil preview, ill post more as it gets completed(the pics are a bit dark, but i kinda wanted it that way for now to help keep it a bit of a mystery )
Thanks! and ya, that was the one thing i was mostly concerned with. there are lots of really nice, highly detailed Fallens on the forum. some of the taller ones just look a lil lanky because the torsos are so thin tho so hopefully this turns out as good as its starting to look ........and this is only using 1 Voyager Fallen too!!
ok, so i had a little time to get some work in on this guy, so here is an update shot. i believe i am done with the body, i just need to finish all the painting on this bad boy i didnt take a tape measure to this guy yet, but from the pics you can see just hoe big he actually is. That is Leader Class Megs in both pics, so you can see that he is pretty tall lol. the only thing i might switch is the head. i think its a bit small looking since i thickened the upper torso so much, so that is something i might have to try making from scratch, not really sure yet on that ...once again, i know this pics are dark, 1. i am using my cell, and 2. i wanna keep some mystery behind it til its done
looking good. However I just noticed something. You're going to have to work on making his head bigger. It just looks way to small for the body. I know, I suck.
i know if i can get my hands on an extra head from the new Voyager, that might work/look a bit better. i have 1, but i dont want to open and destroy it just yet
