I'm nowhere near as good as most of the customizers here but I do what I can.

This figure was borne out of two main things:

    1) Legends Cosmos was nowhere to be found at retail in my area, and I had no interest in paying eBay prices.

    2) I got this Evac figure in an eBay lot. It had no accessories but I thought it was a pretty nice figure in both modes, good proportions, etc.

I thought about it for a long time and finally came up with something to do with it. This is my entry for the Transformers Collectors Club contest. I don't necessarily expect to win, but who knows. Vote for me!!

I used some Walmart spray paint for the green. The red, yellow, black etc are Privateer Press' Formula P3.

There are unfortunately some really, really tight tolerances for some of the parts when you transform it, so it's really hard to avoid rub spots (like on the arms).

I envision the top part of the spaceship, which ends up on his left arm in alt mode, as being a double-barrel gun in this mode (hence the black applied there).

nice man! He almost looks like a submarine without all the helo parts, next time you bash a figure together try to dissasemble him a little bit and sand down the pivot/turning points, works wonders for customs :)

I have never been any good at getting out pins for real name brand Transformers figures, sadly. But sanding down the points does sound helpful. Appreciate that.

Thank you. This reminds me, I used an exacto knife to remove the nose and try to shave down the mouth for more of a faceplate like Cosmos typically would have.

For removing pins, try a 1/16 pin punch, you can find them at just about any hardware store. You would just have to use that and a hammer to smack the pins out, works pretty good too.

I think if you could ass some lil mini-wings and some rockets this would really work!! Super cool idea, though.

Not a bad attempt at all. I really like the robot form. The alt mode looks like a chopper without the propeller blades, though. It's tough to convince myself that it's a space ship, but I'd love to see another version of this in the future with a more refined alt mode.
