Here is my take on the classic dinobots, all are voyager/ultra scale which fits in perfectly with the classic scale transformers.
Simply awesome! I see that you used the dropshot, blades and mudflap molds. What did you use for grimlock?
Damn, that's really impressive! I see the clever use of the CD Scattorshot mold here for the main torso on a few of these, not bad at all ^^. What did you use to make the rest of the parts (legs, limbs, wings, etc.)? They look great!
Excellent work on these, my friend! They look like updated G1 "toon" Dinobots. The parts and bots you used really work well with these. Hell, I'm still amazed at those bots/parts--never realized just how great they could work as Dinobots. The scratchbuilt parts really take these guys over the top. Always a fan of your work, bro!
Thanks for the comments guys. They are a bit blocky . This is due to me not being very skilled at styrene work. But it will come with time (hopefuly). The other problem is not having a good base mold for their dinobot modes. I didnt want to use any beastwars as it would have made them too organic. Also didnt want to articulate the G1 versins as they would be too small for me. I articulated my G1 grimlock and he was smaller thhan universe prowl. I am going to do individual threads for Grimlock Sludge Snarl and Swoop so will give you guys who are interested a closer look and let you know what I used.
beautiful!!!! i love how g1 blockish they are,yet highly articulated too!!!! very cool "fresh" update to much loved characters!!!!
I like these a lot...They kinda look like transforming heroes of cybertron/PVC figures. I like the paint apps.
I agree.. these would be absolutely perfect if not for the blocky, flat surfaces.. but that's understandable considering the amount of scratch building you did.. really excellent work man!
ok at first i didn't think it was good, but the more i look at it the more they impress me. nice job!
