I love the design on the hood in your fourth picture. That is pretty bad ass. I'd hate to see you not use it... I'd like to see a traditional BOSS 302 paint job, a spoiler, a hood scoop, and the rear window panel coverings/flutes. That'd be epic. - Alty
It may not be but it does look like an 88-ish mustang to me. I could be wrong. it may just be a similar style vehicle. yeah, possibly. I don't think I can do a full on tutorial for it but I can show you what I cut and where I stuck it. Once I get things squared away with it I'll do up some images with some instructional text. Ok so after following SuperSSSquad and Alty's advice I've decided to go with this version. in black and gold of course. thanks for lookin' fellaz
He's not, he has a Ford Probe car shell. Certainly cool cars in their day (stupid name, though), but I'd say this is a great update for Blackjack. I think he deserves it
That's kinda funny since the Probe was introduced to replace the Mustang. Rather than just making the pony car front wheel drive, Ford figured they could just make a new car and phase out the Mustang. In an ironic twist of fate, sales of the Probe were horrible compared to the Mustang and it was killed instead. So this is an ironic Blackjack?
another quick little update. had a chance to do some decal work while I was working on the charity bots. also got a chance to throw in those additional lights in the grill. thanks for lookin' dudes.
Oh, those labels look slick! It reminds me very much of my friend Marto6's Alternators Blackjack and his custom labels.
I never look into TFTM or ROTF mold when planning for G1 mold...now i know im far wrong...this Blackjack and Huffer that you bash from movie mold is absolutely fit nicely to both Geewonees..wanna try it some day
Ya know, I've looked at Barricade and wondered if it could be... normalized. I decided that it couldn't. Now, after looking at your digibash on page 1, I see that I was wrong. That looked great, and so to does your WIPs. Hope you don't mind... but I am so steeling the idea.
go for it! I would love to see more versions of these. quick little update. he's almost done. just have to do the detailing and he'll be ready for shelfwarming duty. thanks for following along guys.
