Hi! Classics Bumblebee used, with original G1 weapons. All enamel paints, satin and gloss with metallic silver and metallic green. I used the same deep purple as I used with SG Sideswipe. I think the purple works well, and matches the badge/logo. Transforms very smoothly. Drilled hole on the roof of the car, to hold the large gun/weapon. The weapon fully rotates, and holds very sturdy in the slot. When Bumblebee stands in robot mode, the gun can be attached in his hand, or attached to his back/roof part. No real reason for the sword, just liked the colour and it fit so well in the hand slot. I tried to get a grainy, rather heavy look to the windscreen, not so sure I like that now, but it's too late to change! Stratches, in various degrees, and bullet holes for battle damage look. Still not 100% about the bright orange lights, but thought it gave a little brightness to a rather dark, gothic character. One last thing regarding the large gun. I started with a small handgun, but wanted him to have lots of fire power and a large weapon to attach to the roof. After watching an early Transformers episode, when Cliffjumper has Megatron in his view finder with that big blaster/launcher my mind was made up!
it's nice, but i'm not sold on the color choices. the overall color scheme is like trypitcon's, but we already have sg grimlock with those colors. i think using black as the primary color was fine since that's what they used for goldbug, but yellow and blue probably would've made better choices
love the fig, funny thing though. Last weekend I took that very same BFG added a bit of silver paint apps to it and gave it to my classics Cliffjumper for the very same reason you gave it to SG BB here, lol
